Description:
Highly skilled and results driven external sales representative. You will be resonsible for driving overall valve sales, maintaining strong relationships with external customers across Africa, participating in daily production meetings, handling daily admin functions, preparing quotations, conducting customer visits within Africa, providing sales reports, and ensuring timely follow up on quotations. This position requires a proactive approach, excellentcommunication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Requirements:
- A formal technical qualification will be advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role, preferably in the valve industry or related field.
- Have a solid grasp of the technical concepts, principles, and processes allowing you to effectively analyze, troubleshoot, and apply technical knowledge in practical situations.
- A knowledge of valves, their applications, and relevant industries would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in sales reporting and utilising CRM systems.
- Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, as per business requirements.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) for report generation and communication.
