Position Purpose Statement
The Management Accountant will support the financial planning and analysis functions of the business by assisting with reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial evaluations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate pricing, product costing, and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis. The role will also oversee capital expenditure evaluations, manage credit insurance for new customers, and support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to optimize financial performance and business growth. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive financial accountability and strategic decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities
This position will be responsible for the following:
Assist with weekly and monthly reporting.
Assist with annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
Sales prices & accurate price forecasting
Product costings and ROI/Payback (Existing Products and New Product Development)
CAPEX: Payback/NPV/ROI/Timelines/Risk (Pre and post implementation review per project)
Coordinate and evaluate the New Capital Expenditure and Project Approval Process
Financial Justifications: Budget Adherence, ROI, Payback, NPV, IRR.
Manage the credit insurance process for new customers
Support the Commercial Finance Manager with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Co
ordinating between sales, marketing, and operations. Balancing demand and supply.
Take accountability with the rest of the finance team of the Company Budget
Any other financial functions.

Education:
Tertiary Qualification:
CA (SA) or CIMA;
Experience
1-3 Years Experience
Skills
Strong Analytical Skills, Attention to Detail and Results Driven
Good Interpersonal Relationships
Report Writing and Presentation
Advance Excel experience
