Requirements:A degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or Procurement, or a related commercial discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement management, ideally within the retail, wholesale or electrical industries Negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, and analytical skills Duties include:
Develop procurement strategies aligned with company goals to optimize operations. Forecast demand and create procurement plans based on business needs and growth. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships, securing favorable terms and ensuring compliance. Evaluate supplier performance, addressing issues promptly. Lead procurement activities, overseeing the purchase of cables and materials efficiently and cost-effectively. Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Monitor procurement performance, ensuring timely deliveries, quality control, and cost optimization. Collaborate with departments to improve procurement processes. Conduct market research to identify suppliers, compare offers, and stay updated on industry trends.
