Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Yacht Charter Travel Expect to join their team. This role involves selling luxury sailing catamaran trips in the Caribbean, to high-net-worth individuals and travel lovers. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, a passion for the travel and leisure industry, and the ability to drive business growth while managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive direct sales by generating leads, closing deals, and filling yacht charter vacancies.
- Utilize existing platforms and systems to reach potential clients, ensuring a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Interact with guests, explain the unique value of the charter experience, address consumer concerns, and overcome sales objections.
- Expand revenue opportunities by offering additional experiences, larger vessels, or premium services.
- Assist in the sales and management of yacht charters while ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with client's post-sale to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Work with leadership to improve processes, share insights, and contribute to the expansion of the sales team.
Key Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience, ideally in travel, luxury leisure, or high-ticket sales.
- Experience in cold calling and lead generation, with a strong ability to convert leads into sales.
- Sales and business acumen, including pipeline management and strategic outreach.
- Self-starter mindset, highly motivated to achieve and exceed targets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade high-net-worth clients.
- Ability to work within Atlantic Standard Time (AST) to align with business operations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems & sales platforms (MMK, CYA, Dial Add, etc.) is an advantage.
- Cultural awareness of American consumer preferences and expectations in luxury travel.
- Willingness to take initiative and explore new sales territories.
