Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior to join their dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate must have completed their SAICA training and possess Caseware experience . Attorneys' trust audit experience will be a strong advantage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio, manage audit engagements, and provide mentorship to junior staff.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments in accordance with auditing standards.
- Lead audit teams and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and review working papers, financial statements, and reports using Caseware .
- Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to client needs.
- Conduct fieldwork and substantive testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with clients to provide recommendations and improvements on internal controls.
- Ensure proper documentation of audit findings and conclusions.
- Train and mentor junior auditors to enhance their technical knowledge and professional growth.
- Assist in attorneys' trust audits (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Stay updated with changes in IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, ISA, and relevant legislation.
Requirements:
- Completed SAICA training contract (Articles).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Caseware for financial statement preparation.
- Strong understanding of audit methodologies, standards, and regulations.
- Experience in attorneys’ trust audits will be an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders.
