Are you a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional looking for a dynamic role? My client is seeking an Accountant to oversee the financial operations of their company and ensuring accuracy, profitability, and compliance.This role is based in Brooklyn, Pretoria East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Close – Prepare financial reports, oversee month-end reconciliations, and ensure financial accuracy.
- VAT & Compliance – Ensure correct VAT allocations and full regulatory compliance.
- Accounts Management – Oversee creditors, debtors, and cash flow to maintain financial health.
- Profitability & Cost Control – Optimize pricing, reduce waste, and improve margins.
- Stock & Inventory Management – Monitor stock levels, control wastage, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Systems & Process Oversight – Ensure efficient operation of financial systems (MDA, Pilot, Odyssey).
- Team Leadership – Manage payroll processes and support staff development in collaboration with HR.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency; MDA/MRI experience is a plus.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to drive financial efficiency.
