Purpose of the Role:To ensure sound and effective financial accounting by effective budgeting, forecasting and cost saving initiatives.
The Person:
B.Com Honours/CIMA or similar, plus Articles. 3 years minimum finance experience in a manufacturing environment. Staff management experience an advantage. Resilient and thrives under pressure! Good leadership skills. Drive to develop others and build relationships. Able to manage risks and a critical thinker. Communicate with influence and client centricity. Drive for results. Key Performance Areas:
Report to the Finance Manager: Provide accurate and reliable financial information, including monthly financial reporting and reconciliations. Complete financial packs and tax computations. Effective and efficient reporting to enable strategic decision-making. Accounting: Full financial function Monthly reporting packs Annual financial statements Budgets and forecasts Audit packs Reconciliations Enterprise risk management Working capital management Cost management Debt management Payroll check and authorisation Taxation: Company tax returns Taxation and deferred taxation Review and guide employees on personal income tax VAT Build solid relationships with clients, suppliers, Auditors, legal, financial institutions, etc.
