Requirements
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional certifications (e.g., ECSA registration) are highly desirable. Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is an advantage. Proficiency in CAD software for creating schematics and electrical layouts. Strong skills in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading engineering teams. Essential Knowledge
Electrical Engineering Principles:
Advanced Circuit Theory: Deep understanding of electrical circuits, Ohm's Law, Kirchhoff's laws, and complex circuit analysis.
Power Systems: Comprehensive knowledge of AC/DC power systems, transformers, and power distribution networks.
Motor Control: Detailed knowledge of motor types, control methods, motor protection, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).

Instrumentation Engineering Fundamentals:
Advanced Measurement and Sensors: Extensive knowledge of sensors (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow) and their integration into systems.
Signal Conditioning: Proficient in signal amplification, filtering, conversion, and noise reduction techniques.
Advanced Process Control: In-depth understanding of control systems, including advanced PID control, feedback loops, and control strategies.

Industrial Automation:
PLCs and DCS: Expertise in PLC programming, distributed control systems (DCS), and their applications in industrial automation.
SCADA Systems: Advanced knowledge of SCADA systems for real-time process monitoring and control.

ICT and Networking:
Network Design: Expertise in designing and managing industrial networks, including LAN, WAN, and network security.
Data Communication: Advanced knowledge of data transmission protocols, cybersecurity, and secure network architecture.
Industrial IoT: Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) applications in industrial environments.

Safety and Compliance:
Electrical Safety: In-depth knowledge of electrical safety practices, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC).
Risk Management: Advanced skills in conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, and implementing safety measures.
Compliance: Thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Leadership and Management:
Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, manage performance, and develop talent.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects.
