JOB DESCRIPTION:Job Title: Business Analyst
Employment Type: 6 Months Hybrid Employment Contract, (Renewable)
JOB PURPOSE:
The Business Analyst facilitates business and crossâ?competency teams to understand, analyze and document relevant business functions and business requirements in completing tasks related to business solution planning, documenting, managing customer requirements as well as card system design and implementation.
The work of the BA also includes process analysis; business process and requirements modelling and analysis. The role works with business stakeholders, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, System Architects, System Analysts, Developers and Project Management to develop and implement business solutions on within the company group environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE:
1. Roles and responsibilities of a BA in the squad/value stream:
As-is and to be business process analysis. Elicitation, documentation, and analysis of business requirements, resulting in compilation of BRDs or user stories. This spans functional, non-functional, data, information requirements etc. Socialization of solution requirements with business audiences, architecture, and tech audiences to obtain buy-in at various levels of the organization. Support people change management endeavors such as development of adoption strategies, end-user training etc. Support development and testing efforts to ensure that requirements are implementation as specified. Manage traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Support project management in the identification and mitigation of risks and issues. Partner with development teams and architecture to ensure cross-disciplinary collaboration and solution delivery.2. Card System Design & Implementation:
Work with technical teams to design and implement card-related solutions, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into system functionality. Provide input into the design and development of card payment platforms, including integration with third-party vendors and financial institutions. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
B-degree in Commerce or Science (Honours is advantageous). End -to-end experience in large scale implementation projects i.e., full SDLC Experience in Card System Design & Implementation.
