Main Purpose of the role:
Support the procurement and delivery of both short- and long-term strategic and management consultant assignments. You will be located within our Clients dynamic Transport Practice, but your work may cut across more than one practice area and may span several geographies.
While the role will primarily centres around delivery, it is expected that the individual will also provide support to various business development initiatives in the Middle East and Africa. The position will entail working with a diverse range of clients, in both public and private sector, assisting them to solve their most pressing strategic, organisational, and operational challenges. This will encompass duties and responsibilities typical to a multidisciplinary and cross-cutting strategy and management consulting role.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Understanding and defining client problems, and developing hypotheses and methodologies to identify solutions, working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders; Leading and/or coordinating quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to characterise, present, and motivate appropriate solution options; Leading and/or coordinating the development of high-quality project collateral and deliverables, including slide decks and reports, and analytical tools and models; Leading and/or facilitating discussions, workshops, and engagements with clients and stakeholders to explore options, present findings, elaborate on recommendations, and iterate towards final solutions; Establishing, cultivating, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, to understand and respond to their immediate and longer-term needs; Managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams tackling complex projects which may incorporate technical, legal, economic, financial, commercial, social, and/or environmental challenges; Managing subcontractors, including overseeing the delivery of high-quality deliverables by these parties; Managing and mentoring junior staff members; Making active contributions towards business growth, through developing and implementing business development strate
