Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the planning, development, and management of aerospace engineering projects. Provide regular interim and quarterly status reports to Exco and operational management, clients, and stakeholders. Contribute to long-term planning, including manpower, training, facilities, and equipment budgets. Fully understand project histories, current statuses, and future challenges to meet contractual milestones. Build and expand the Project Management Groups capabilities into an efficient Project Management Office. Manage and guide a team of experienced engineers, ensuring cohesion and productivity. Collaborate with the Business Development Group on proposals for new projects and spin-offs. Implement tools, techniques, and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.Experience and Qualifications
BSc in Engineering (M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering preferred). A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in an engineering context. Proven leadership skills and excellent communication abilities. Experience managing aerospace or mechanical engineering projects is a significant advantage. A formal project management qualification or certification will be beneficial.Candidate Attributes
