Description:
- TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Asset Protection Specialist within the Business Development division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Identify and mitigate potential loss risks across the TWK Group
- Implement preventative measures and ensure appropriate sanctions
- Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and liaise with SAPS and other authorities
- Pursue prosecutions, publish trial outcomes, and facilitate civil litigation
- Maintain records of security incidents, investigations, and outcomes
- Provide reports to management and update case systems
- Assist HR with disciplinary hearings and testify when required
- Develop and implement crime prevention awareness programs
- Build relationships with SAPS, NPA, and key stakeholders
- Ensure effective asset management, training, and compliance
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Forensics, Police Administration or a related field
- Detectives course
- Detective commanders’ course (advantageous)
- Certified Fraud Examiners course (advantageous)
- 10 years’ experience as an investigator in an acknowledged investigative environment
- 5 years’ experience in Security, asset protection or loss prevention roles
- 5 years’ experience in a managerial role in a related field
- In-depth knowledge of the Criminal Procedure Act (minimum 10 years of working experience).
- Trilingual (Afrikaans, English & isiZulu) (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Strong understanding of South African laws
- Driver’s License (Code 8)
- Valid Passport
- Willing to travel
