We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Receptionist and Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing inbound calls via the national switchboard while providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have exceptional multitasking abilities, a strong customer service orientation, and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations with maturity and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Answer high-volume incoming calls in both fluent Afrikaans and English.
- Respond to general telephone and email queries.
- Assist with managing a busy national switchboard.
- Process and issue invoices.
- Send relevant documentation to customers and follow up on incomplete information.
- Perform general office administration duties.
- Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as required.
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- A tertiary qualification or currently pursuing part-time tertiary studies (preferable, but not required).
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Switchboard Operator, Call Centre Agent, or in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Well-spoken in Afrikaans and English, with excellent written communication skills.
- Professional and confident telephone etiquette, with a positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be mature, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be able to handle difficult clients effectively.
- Must have a driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Will be required to work two Saturdays per month, on a rotational basis.
- Ideally, candidates should reside in Pretoria-East, we will also consider candidates for our offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and George.
