Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize fraud detection models for payment streams.
- Analyze client risk profiles and adjust detection models and thresholds accordingly.
- Investigate system anomalies and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Monitor system performance using industry-standard metrics and client-specific data.
- Manage data issues and incorporate new fraud data feeds as required.
- Provide technical communication and data wrangling insights for business teams.
- Support ad hoc investigations and contribute to fraud/analytics projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MSc or BSc in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years experience in fraud detection, data analytics, or statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SQL, and data wrangling techniques.
- Experience with big data analytics, scripting, and programming.
This role is key to national fraud prevention initiatives and offers opportunities to collaborate with key stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
