Responsibilities: Manage business account cashbook and bank reconciliation Handle trust account cashbook and bank reconciliation Close TPFA accounts and capture interest Process fees and disbursements Capture and reconcile creditors Record and reconcile petty cash Prepare and post monthly journals Maintain asset register and manage depreciation Pay Fidelity Fund Generate day / month-end reports Open matter codes and investment accounts, including guarantees Load daily and monthly payments Send out statements Requirements: 3-8 years of relevant experience in a legal bookkeeping environment Proven experience with legal accounting software (Lawpac experience is ideal, but AJS, LegalSuite, etc., are also acceptable) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Valid drivers license Preferably resides in the Westville / Pinetown / Upper Highway area Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesIf you meet the above criteria and are looking for a new opportunity with an established company, we invite you to apply!
