Minimum Job Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. General management experience, with approximately 5 years proven experience at Senior Management level. Commercial and Operational experience in warehousing, supply chain, logistics and refined metal exports in Africa. Experience in commodity exports/imports, in Africa. Key Performance Areas: Operations excellence and management. Strategy formulation and implementation. Staff management. Supply chain. Finance. Responsibilities and Tasks:
Report to the Operations Director:
Achieve regional goals and revenue targets. Ensure compliance to Customs and SARS requirements. Oversee daily operations and management of regional budget and costs. Ensure collaboration and synergies between Operations and Commercial teams in the region. Engage regularly and meet with key customers. Drive commercially focused business vision for the region. Develop performance objectives for the regional team in line with national targets. Liaise with external stakeholders, rail & ports, to ensure an effective and efficient supply chain. Prepare, analyse and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Develop a culture of operational excellence and ensure its embedded in the region. Ensure customer service requirements are met and exceeded. Design regional strategy and set goals for growth. Competencies (Knowledge and Skills):
