Description:
Key Responsibilities:Develop, manage, and execute merchandise planning strategies. Analyze sales trends, stock levels, and market demands to optimize inventory. Collaborate closely with buying, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and profitability. Monitor KPIs, forecasts, and planning processes to support business goals. Implement improvements in planning processes and systems. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planners to achieve departmental objectives.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years experience in planning within the retail industry. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with planning systems and advanced Excel skills. Ability to collaborate across departments and influence key stakeholders. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is advantageous.
