Requirements:
Matric Certificate. Relevant Diploma/ Certificate Bookkeeping/ Finance or other. +-10 years working experience in Senior Bookkeeping. Proven experience with SAGE Evolution Accounting Package. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Tenacity, flexibility and ability to meet strict and tight deadlines essential. Experience working within a - Multinational and Intercompany Transactions- an advantage. Foreign Exchange and Rate of Exchange transactions an advantage. First Language - English. Must have own transport.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Maintain complete and accurate financial records up to Balance Sheet. General ledger and lead sheet maintenance. Account Receivables & Customer ledger processing and reconciliations. Account Payables & Supplier ledger processing and reconciliations. Bank and payment preparation and reconciliations. Foreign Exchange Transactions. Credit card statements and expense claim reconciliations. Process monthly journals and adjustments. Maintain fixed asset register. Assist with month-end and year-end processes, journals and reconciliations. Inventory Management:
Manage inventory control systems and processes (experience in a company having Inventory holding - an advantage). Customer Liaison for spares orders. Quotations, orders, invoices, stock preparation and distribution. Plan and oversee stock takes Other:
Visa and travel planning and control. Back-Office support and ad hoc administrative duties. General Office orders refreshments, canteen and stationery.
