The Bay Hotel with the majestic Twelve Apostle Mountain range as a backdrop and the Atlantic Ocean less than a minutes’ walk away, in the heart of glitzy Camps Bay has a position for an Events Co-Ordinator to join their team of extraordinary people. As the Events Co-Ordinator, you'll be the heart and soul behind bringing unforgettable experiences to life at our luxury hotel. Your role is all about working hand-in-hand with clients to turn their visions into reality, whether it's a dreamy wedding, a lively corporate function, or an intimate gathering. You'll be there every step of the way, ensuring each detail is thoughtfully planned, organized, and executed with care. Your mission? What Is Required:
The Events Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Manager in driving sales and the development of the Banqueting, Events, Groups and Food & Beverage products and offerings. He/she must drive the delivering of operational objectives and assisting clients and groups with all event/accommodation/activity and tailored requirements. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that each event is seamlessly managed, meets the high standards of the hotel, and delivers an exceptional experience for guests. The Events Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for clients, working closely with them to understand their needs and preferences, and overseeing all aspects of event execution to ensure successful outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or Equivalent Must speak, read, write and understand English at a professional level Computer literate level 2 minimum experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in particular) Related Events Tertiary qualification essential Diploma/Degree in hospitality management or project management (advantageous) 3 to 5 years in similar industry experience Ready to Join?
