Job Vacancy: CNC Laser Operator at Energy Integrated Industries
Position Overview:
Energy Integrated Industries is seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our team. The CNC Laser Operator will be responsible for executing verbal and documented instructions from the CNC Manager and CNC Programmer while ensuring the machines and tools are maintained in optimal working condition. The ideal candidate will have a background in CNC operations, internal and external training, and a passion for maintaining consistent production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow verbal and documented instructions from the CNC Manager and CNC Programmer.
- Operate CNC Laser machines, ensuring proper punch, bend, and cutting according to the Job Card.
- Maintain optimal working condition of CNC Laser machines and tools.
- Safeguard tools and equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Plan the next job to ensure a smooth and continuous production flow.
- Track and maintain a count of parts, batch them, and ensure the jobs are completed.
- Perform weekly maintenance on CNC machinery and keep them in good working order.
- Other duties may be assigned as delegated by management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of Grade 10 (Grade 12 preferred).
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience with CNC Laser operations or relevant internal training.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Training: A record of internal and external training, with a focus on personal skills development and product/process understanding.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions diligently.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate machinery.
- Experience with CNC Laser cutting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication skills to interact with the CNC Manager and Programmer.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
