Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Front of House Restaurant Manager located in the City of Cape Town. The manager will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations and ensuring exceptional customer service!
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Food & Beverage management
- Experience in Sales and Customer Relationship Management
- Ability to train and supervise staff effectively
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Duties
✅ Cash-ups – Reconcile daily sales, handle cash, and close tills.
✅ Service Supervision – Oversee floor operations, ensuring smooth service.
✅ Opening & Closing Duties – Ensure proper setup and shutdown procedures.
✅ Guest Experience – Greet customers, handle complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
✅ Training – Teach staff service standards, upselling, and safety procedures.
✅ Scheduling – Create and manage staff rosters to optimize coverage.
✅ Performance Monitoring – Give feedback and conduct staff evaluations.
✅ Team Leadership – Motivate staff and resolve any team conflicts.
✅ Ordering – Manage stock.
✅ Stock Control – Monitor and minimize waste or shortages.
Own transport would be beneficial.
