Requirements:
- Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. (BTECH, BSc or Beng)
- Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role within the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Strong project management and continuous improvement expertise.
- Experience with logistics supply methods and SAP (advantageous).
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for Kaizen opportunities.
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Streamline workflows and conduct productivity studies to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Plan and allocate manpower resources to meet production requirements.
- Optimize factory layouts for space utilization, material flow, and safety.
- Manage supply chain and logistics to reduce costs and lead times.
- Implement quality control procedures and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate projects related to process improvements and new implementations.
- Utilize data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing (TPS) and Kaizen principles.
