Description:
Requirements:Relevant qualifications (diploma / degree)
Minimum 5 years accounting experience
Experience in cost and management accounts will be to your advantage
Must be able to prepare financial information up to trial balance
Experience with regards to statutory requirements of companies and trusts will be to your advantage
Computer literate, Excellent Excel skills
Agricultural industry experience will be to your advantage
Be willing to travel from time to time
Responsibilities:
Understand and interpret management accounts
Manage inventory, assets and capital expenditure withing the stipulate framework
Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly projections
Participate in the annual audit process
Ensure that internal control measures are implemented and maintain correctly
Processing journals
Provide support functions to group IT and BI departments
Ensure implementation of SOP's and effectiveness of way of working
Provide support and assistance to business units management teams with administration and financial matters
Actively assist head office with upgrading systems
Provide support to HR with salaries and wages
