They're looking for a driven Solar Solutions Engineer to lead the charge, bringing their expertise and passion to growing projects.What You'll Do:
Design & Engineer: Develop comprehensive solar PV system designs, including single-line diagrams, AC/DC calculations, equipment specifications, and performance modeling, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability. Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance throughout the project life-cycle, from initial feasibility studies and site assessments to commissioning and handover. Project Management Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Installers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, adhering to timelines and budgets. Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, staying abreast of the latest advancements in solar technology and driving continuous improvement. Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all designs and installations comply with the relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations. Client Consultation: Provide technical expertise and support to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential). 5+ years of proven experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically with solar PV systems. Strong understanding of solar PV system design, installation, and commissioning. Proficiency in industry-standard software for solar design and simulation (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, and Helioscope). Excellent knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, and IEC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for sustainability and renewable energy. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites.
