Description:
Handling the full accounting cycle, including posting General Ledger transactions and reconciling cashbooks
Conducting monthly reviews of the Balance Sheet to ensure accuracy and compliance
Managing and updating records of fixed assets
Preparing, verifying, and submitting VAT returns and payments in accordance with regulations
Tracking and forecasting weekly cash flow to support financial stability
Assessing costs and financial trends to provide key insights for decision-making
Generating and interpreting management reports to aid strategic planning
Offering support to the Finance Director (FD) and Finance Manager (FM) as required
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
Experience in handling commission calculations
Keen eye for detail with a strong focus on accuracy
Capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment
Strong analytical abilities with a problem-solving mindset
Committed to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating integrity
Qualification:
BCom Accounting degree or an equivalent qualification is required
