World leader in the design, manufacture and supply of unique physical perimeter security barriers seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Construction Contracts Manager. Based in Kempton Park
For the position you would be required to have:
- B.Sc Construction Management or similar tertiary qualification a MUST
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with knowledge of construction, engineering and procurement industry standards nationally and internationally
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required
Responsibilities would include you to:
- Develop and lead a team within a live energetic environment and ensure that the projects are completed in time as well as within budget
- Setting up milestones and management thereof as well as reporting project progress
- Kickstart regular meetings with onsite projects team to identify any future anticipated delays thus affecting the project at hand and
- Aid in the logistics plan that allows the team on site to complete their work in a coordinated and most efficient manner
- Determine priorities based on project requirements and onsite job specifications
- Determining requirements that includes allowances for site specific necessities whilst adhering to project budgets
- Evaluate project performance and onsite quality assurance whilst adhering to geographic site-specific laws
- Submitting health and safety files and ensuring the team onsite adheres to these policies and procedures while being exposed to various environmental factors
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction
