As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for obtaining essential medical and non - medical information to complete life insurance applications telephonically. This will eliminate the need to complete online interviews. The representative will document client’s medical information and complete the application form accurately. Detailed interaction with the client will be required to obtain accurate health and medical information. These questions will also aid the completion of the underwriting process.

- Document client’s medical information
- Review contractual and regulatory requirements
- A successful Customer Service Representative will be customer-focused, detail oriented, and efficient. You should be polite, reliable, knowledgeable, and adaptable
- Schedules and conducts telephonic interviews with clients to obtain information to complete life insurance applications. Interviews include Personal Health and Supplemental Health Questions including detailed medical and nonmedical questions.
- Results driven, ability to think critically with solid listening and probing skills
- Maintains effective communication with members of Underwriting and New Business
- Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, and ensuring that client’s feel supported and valued
- Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry clients, as needed

- Call Centre Customer Service Advisor: 1 year or less
- Matric Certificate / NQF Level 4
- Clear credit and criminal record
- 6 months + call centre experience
- Medical background (Doctor's office/ pharmacist/ E.R experience / Clinical experience
- Good articulation of English language (Spoken & Written)
