Our client, Kromco (Pty) Ltd , one of South Africa's largest fruit-packing and marketing companies, near Grabouw, Western Cape , has the above-mentioned position available. The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen, expertise in IT systems and security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management, growers, and stakeholders. The Financial Manager will report to the CEO.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: *Financial planning and analysis *Strategic financial support *Cost management and profitability (Performance Metrics and KPI management) *Cash flow, FOREX, and Investment Capital management (liquidity) *Financial reporting *Governance and Company secretarial function *Financial Technology and Automation *Compliance and Risk Management *Stakeholder relations *Team leadership and development *All other tasks related to this position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• A relevant tertiary qualification;
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Financial and IT Management, within the fruit industry;
• Expertise in reviewing commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and transactions;
• Experience with international and local audits, including B-BBEE reporting;
• Skilled in managing shareholder and contract accounts (pools);
• Proven ability to manage teams, including motivation and discipline;
• Valid driver’s license.
