Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy machinery and materials using rigging equipment.Key Responsibilities
- Set up and secure rigging equipment for lifting and moving heavy loads.
- Operate and inspect rigging hardware, including slings, pulleys, shackles, and hoists.
- Collaborate with crane operators and ground crews to ensure safe and efficient lifts.
- Interpret load charts, blueprints, and work orders to determine rigging requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on rigging equipment.
- Ensure all rigging activities comply with health and safety regulations.Requirements
- Certified Rigger qualification (if applicable).
- Proven experience in rigging, preferably in the construction, engineering, or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of rigging techniques, load calculations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physically fit with excellent problem-solving skills.
