Production planning of Transformers and Transformer assemblies
Record keeping of designs, materials, costing and test results for transformers on a job by job basis
Transformer certification and compliance with national and customer specifications or standards
Coordination and liaison with all manufacturing divisions within Company.
Selection, and ordering of transformer materials.
Issue of designs and working instructions for winding and assembly.
Managing transformer winding, assembly and mounting.
Programming of small CNC winding machines.
Supervising final assembly and final product testing.
Preparation of transformer quotations and assistance thereof with varying transformer configurations
Liaise with customers on a commercial and technical basis
Supervising the use and maintenance of oil purifying machine.
Supervising the use and maintenance winding machines and transformer test equipment.
Product application suitability, improvement and cost effectiveness.
Transformer manufacturing and testing, staff motivation, optimum performance and discipline
Staff selection, hiring/employment, goal setting, training and evaluation
Exploring new technologies and techniques of transformer design, manufacture and testing
Work with other members of design team to complete all required drawings and bills of materials
Supply Chain Management: selecting and ensuring the availability and quality of raw materials for uninterrupted operations
Work any additional hours which may be reasonably necessary having regard to the demand of business from time to time
Encourage and motivate personnel so that a positive attitude toward product quality is achieved.
