Our client based in the Northern Suburbs in the manufacturing industry is seeking a qualified Production Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities: Responsible for the planning of overall day to day production. Management of production staff and all other related resources in the manufacturing system. Develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. Implement and maintain production processes and procedures that enhances productivity and efficiency. Enforce regular housekeeping in the production facility. Determine material, equipment, and labor requirements, prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues. Provide weekly feedback to senior management on the progress of each job and proactively report all issues experienced. Implement and maintain quality system that enhances and monitor the quality of all products produced. Assist with administrative related duties to ensure all paperwork for jobs are done. Requirements: Matric / Grade 12. National Diploma / BTech or BEng Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
