Switch Support Analyst

My client, a leading Payment Services Provider in Southern Africa, is seeking a Switch Support Analyst to join their dynamic team
Provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of escalated issues
Implement and maintain software updates, APIs, and system patches
Monitor system performance and ensure platform stability through proactive measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve operational efficiency
Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting SLA commitments and fostering strong relationships

Skills & Experience:
A postgraduate degree/diploma in IT or equivalent experience
Proficiency in SQL/PostgreSQL with a minimum of 2 years' database experience
Hands-on experience in the payments industry and financial transaction processing
Strong technical skills in system monitoring tools and switching solutions
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering results

A confident individual with a friendly personality, drive, energy, and enthusiasm together with a strong personal commitment to the delivery of high standards in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner who works in alignment with the company policies and procedures. An individual that possesses great problem-solving skills & an ability to work with little to no supervision.
