My client based in the North of Johannesburg is seeking a Solutions Architect - Computer Endpoints.
The Solutions Architect - Computer Endpoints is responsible for the overall vision and architecture of computer endpoints in the organisation. This includes defining the configuration of the end points, determining the security standards and defining the policies to manage the endpoints.
The Solutions Architect is a senior member of the technical team and will also be responsible to assist in resolving computer endpoint issues and play the role of the technical lead to the HelpDesk team.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall architectural design of computer endpoints Defining, documenting and sharing policies and standards applicable to computer endpoints Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions Defining standards applicable to maintaining computer endpoints Identifying and advocating process improvements and helping develop solutions to support these Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the HelpDesk Team. Supporting the HelpDesk team to understand and resolve issues. Identify gaps in the current environment and propose ways to enhance it.Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions

In-depth technical knowledge and practical experience of Technology Infrastructure, including the Microsoft Operating System architecture (Windows and Windows servers) and Mac OS Advanced understanding of networking to support your knowledge of the operation of computer endpoints Positive attitude, problem solver, strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change, structured and organised Ability to understand business requirements, design enterprise solutions and drive the roll-out and adaption of theseKnowledge and Education:
5 - 7 years experience as a Computer Endpoint and Active Directory expert 3 - 5 years experience as a Solutions Architect Microsoft Windows Operation Systems Mac OS In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies Network and security
