Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing market research company, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to build and lead their QA department.

This is an exciting opportunity to build processes, develop a high-performing team, and ensure the highest standards in data integrity, analysis, and reporting.

Job type: Remote – Permanent Position

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and enforce data quality standards and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used in market research projects. Recruit, train, and manage a team of QA Controllers to support Research Operations. Conduct regular audits of databases and data sources to assess data quality and promptly address any identified issues. Proactively identify trends and patterns that may affect data integrity and take appropriate actions to address them. Work closely with research, operations, and client service teams to embed a quality-first culture. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant data protection regulations and policies. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends, recommending and implementing improvements to existing processes. Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly tasks and deadlines to maximise efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Research). Minimum 5 years in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in market research or data-driven industries. Proven track record of setting up and managing a QA function, including hiring and leading teams. Strong understanding of research methodologies, data validation techniques, and quality frameworks. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages commonly used in data quality management (e.g., SQL, SAS, Python, R). Familiarity with data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) for communicating data quality metrics.
