Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Manage and track lodge expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary guidelines. Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements. Prepare and process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and lodge policies. Provide administrative support to the finance team as required. Assist with audit preparation and other financial tasks as necessary. Requirements:
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar finance-related role, preferably in the hospitality or luxury sector. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information. A qualification in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
