Procurement Coordinator
Location: Roodepoort, Gauteng
Salary: R18,000 per month + Medical aid, provident fund, 13 th cheque
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to manage supplier quotations, purchase orders, and procurement processes efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, experience in ERP systems, and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
? Supplier Quotations & Purchase Orders:
Obtain and compare quotations from strategic and non-strategic suppliers based on business requirements.
Secure necessary approvals and create purchase orders (POs) upon authorization.
Submit payment requests and invoices to the finance department promptly and accurately.
? Procurement & Vendor Management:
Maintain accurate records of procurement documentation on a weekly basis.
Monitor and manage purchase orders via the ERP system, ensuring timely reporting.
Handle vendor onboarding, including creating vendor profiles and maintaining updated BEE certificates.
Update vendor BEE status in the ERP system as required.
? Stock & Consumables Management:
Procure locally sourced stock based on Bill of Quantities received.
Generate sales quotes on Dynamics for Account Managers upon request.
Monitor Dispatch and Workshop consumables levels, replenishing when necessary.
Oversee courier accounts and process top-ups as needed.
? Financial & Administrative Tasks:
Monitor and reconcile petty cash transactions.
Ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with procurement policies.
Minimum Requirements:
? Education: Matric (Grade 12)
? Experience:
3+ years of procurement experience, preferably within a technological environment
Proficiency in ERP systems (Experience with Dynamics is advantageous)
? Skills:
Intermediate Excel skills (data analysis & reporting)
Strong administrative abilities with attention to detail
Excellent negotiation & communication skills
High level of accuracy & organizational skills
