Purpose: Maintain and repair plant equipment and machinery to ensure smooth production. Support improvements through design, modification, and installation of new machinery. Adhere to ISO 9001 quality management standards. Key Responsibilities:- Manage the factory's maintenance schedule.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Suggest improvements for planned maintenance.
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Oversee calibration by external contractors.
- Conduct daily machine set-ups to meet production goals.
- Handle job cards, breakdowns, fault-finding, and repairs.
- Update maintenance records and reports.
- Optimize production through electrical modifications.
- Manage spare parts inventory and advise on needed replacements.
- Source spare parts and secure quotations.
- Commission and validate equipment.
- Handle general building maintenance.
- Treat effluent to meet municipal standards.
- Act as a Health & Safety Representative.
- Support the Spill Team in handling spills.
- Provide electrical support to Sales Reps.
- Prepare and submit monthly SHEQ reports.
- Train others to enhance skills.
- Reduce downtime through root cause analysis.
