Minimum requirements:Matric or NQF level 4 equivalent Health & Safety qualification 5 years related SHE experience Conduct safety checks on work areas and equipment, and takes steps to mitigate risks in the future Performs all tasks in accordance with the Health and Safety requirements per the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 Ensures compliance to current occupational Health & Safety legislation and requirements by on-going
monitoring of current processes against the OHS Act Ensures the provision of all PPE by evaluating requirements, liaising with suppliers, ordering, and issuing to staff Sources toolbox talk/health and safety tips/topics and information for staff education and present toolbox
talks at H&S meetings. Distributes safety tip of the month and H&S awareness posters
