A client that specializes in creating custom software for the mining industry, in the heart of Johannesburg, is looking for a Technical Writer with business analysis experience to join their in-office team. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating technical documentation for business processes, software applications and technical procedures. Qualifications:- Relevant tertiary qualification
Requirements:
- Experience in business analysis with the ability to document and communicate business requirements
- Ability to create process diagrams and technical specifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or Technical Communicator
- Experience in documenting complex business processes and technical information
- Strong technical writing and editing skills
- Familiar with version control systems such as Git and content management systems (CMS)
KPA’s:
- Documentation development
- Business process documentation
- Develop, organize and maintain content management libraries
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers and other stakeholders
- Produce user guides
- Review and edit documentation
- Refine and improve documentation by gathering user feedback
- Work well within an in-office team
