Description:

A client that specializes in creating custom software for the mining industry, in the heart of Johannesburg, is looking for a Technical Writer with business analysis experience to join their in-office team. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating technical documentation for business processes, software applications and technical procedures. Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification

Requirements:
  • Experience in business analysis with the ability to document and communicate business requirements
  • Ability to create process diagrams and technical specifications
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer or Technical Communicator
  • Experience in documenting complex business processes and technical information
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills
  • Familiar with version control systems such as Git and content management systems (CMS)

KPA’s:
  • Documentation development
  • Business process documentation
  • Develop, organize and maintain content management libraries
  • Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers and other stakeholders
  • Produce user guides
  • Review and edit documentation
  • Refine and improve documentation by gathering user feedback
  • Work well within an in-office team
