This assembly function requires a suitably trained person to carry out functions from basic fitment to complex assembly procedures which require the use of sophisticated tooling, measurement equipment and assembly machinery.Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
- Proven understanding of assembly processes, technical documents and proper utilisation of tooling equipment and machinery. Technical qualification an advantage
- Sound knowledge of statutory and compliance rules and procedures, applicable to a workshop and assembly function.
- A clear understanding of the Quality Management System and how its impacts on the assembly function.
- Assembly of electric motors including brake motors, mechanical variable speed geared motors.
- Ability to read workshop orders, picking tickets & assembly instructions
- Ability to use simple measurement equipment including verniers
