GENERAL MANAGERSALES, LOGISTICS AUTOMOTIVEJOHANNESBURG The main purpose of the role:Responsible for managing the Automotive vertical and Key Account Managers for automotive accounts, requiring deep knowledge of Operations, HR, IT, Finance, and Sales. Ownership of revenue retention and growth in the Automotive sector with plans to expand into other business units. Focused on retaining and growing existing clients while targeting new opportunities to achieve ambitious growth targets. An effective General Manager drives sales performance to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial - managing tender submissions, monitoring revenue and billing variances, setting annual budgets, and ensuring debtors are under 35 days while minimizing outstanding balances over 120 days.
- Team management
- Governance, Compliance and Reporting
- Relationship management
- Solution Design
Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a National Diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years Automotive end-to-end Supply Chain experience of which at least 3 years must be in Automotive logistics or Automotive solution selling.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Own vehicle
