Job Overview :
We are currently seeking two qualified technicians to join our dynamic team at Chery and Omoda Jaecoo in Cape Town . The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the automotive industry, with a strong background in multifranchise experience. As part of our team, you will play a key role in servicing and maintaining vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You should be adaptable, willing to travel to the Cape Town CBD , and have the skills to manage various vehicle brands with precision and expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic assessments and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on Chery and Omoda Jaecoo vehicles .
- Service and repair vehicles according to company procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and provide reports on the condition of vehicles.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services , including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid top-ups.
- Complete repair orders and maintenance logs accurately and promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by advising on repairs, offering alternatives, and ensuring high-quality work is delivered.
- Work independently and as part of a team , providing support to other technicians when needed.
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures while working in the workshop.
- Stay current with vehicle technology , repair techniques, and Chery & Omoda Jaecoo brand specifications.
- Be willing to travel to Cape Town CBD for specific job requirements or as per business needs.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license (Code 8 or higher).
- Willingness to travel to Cape Town CBD as required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills .
- Ability to maintain high standards of work and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
