Our client is looking for a Technology & Digital Transformation Manager to join their team.
This role will suit an entrepreneurial-minded manager looking for a new purpose and opportunity to drive digital transformation across various IT disciplines, including IT governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive digital transformation initiatives across the organisation, leveraging modern technologies to enhance the overall business strategy. Manage IT governance, risk & cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. Oversee the implementation and management of Microsoft Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 end-user software. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external service providers and cross-departmental teams, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of IT services. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating innovation and transformation across the organisation.Qualifications and Experience:
Degree or National Diploma (NQF6-7) with at least 7 to 10 years of hands-on work-related equivalent experience. 7 years managerial experience Proficient in Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and relevant security operations and compliance management tools. Experience with applied methodologies and frameworks, specifically COBIT (governance, risk, or cybersecurity) framework. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to convey complex technical concepts understandably. Excellent team management skills and high emotional intelligence. Experience collaborating with external service providers and cross-departmental teams, with exposure to SLAs outlining standard response times and deliverables. Membership/Affiliation to professional bodies (e.g. ISACA) to stay updated with trends and best practices is beneficialAdditional Info:
