Join Spitz in Bryanston , Johannesburg , as a Sales Order Clerk , where you will be responsible for receiving and processing customer orders with precision and efficiency. This role is integral to ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to : Senior Planner
  • Direct Reports : None

Key Areas of Impact:

  1. Timely deliveries to customers
  • Ensuring all orders and credits are captured timeously to prevent late customer deliveries
  • Daily to weekly follow-ups with warehouse and couriers regarding orders and credits
  • Effectively work alongside the Credit Department to ensure deadlines are met and order delays are prevented
  • Customer service
  1. Ensure that customers have all relevant information
  • Handling complaints and working to resolve any issues in a professional and efficient manner. Dissatisfied customers’ should be forwarded to head office
  • Have weekly meeting with head office in constant communication
  • Meet customers’ needs to the best of my abilities, eg if an order needs to be delivered at a certain time making arrangements with DC and courier
  • Responding promptly to customer questions and concerns.
  • Maintaining a positive, friendly, and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
  1. Efficient and accurate administration and reporting
  • On time order capturing and credits with zero errors that will ensure on time deliveries
  • Working through open orders report to establish reasons why orders were not delivered
  • Analysis reports i.e. Ex stock and Stock Available, styles that we have issues add some insight when sending out the email communication
  • Ensuring all orders and credits are captured accurately to prevent discrepancies and customer queries

  • 2 years working experience in a customer service role

Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

  • The ideal candidate will hold a Grade 12/NQF Level 4
