Finance Manager (Part-Time, 25 Hours per Week)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial management, reconciliations, reporting, and staff oversight. Proficiency in Xero, Excel/Google Sheets, Stripe, Dext, and online banking across multiple currencies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts , ensuring financial stability.
- Review and approve payments within cash flow parameters.
- Prepare monthly accruals and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee VAT returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile Indian accounts and other financial records to support year-end processes.
Reconciliations & Revenue Management
- Daily bank reconciliations across three companies, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage trade debtors , liaising with customer service teams to resolve outstanding queries.
- Oversee event revenue reconciliations monthly, ensuring accuracy and tracking income in advance.
- Review prepayment reconciliations and ensure all accounts are up to date.
Staff & System Management
- Manage and support one finance staff member , ensuring efficient workflow.
- Upload and manage event budgets within financial systems.
- Utilize Stripe for financial reporting and transactions.
- Maintain and oversee Dext for financial record-keeping and expense management.
- Work with online banking systems across multiple currencies for financial transactions.
Requirements:
✔ Proven experience in a Finance Manager role or similar position.
✔ Strong proficiency in Xero (essential).
✔ Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets , including VLOOKUP and reconciliations.
✔ Experience using Stripe for financial reporting.
✔ Knowledge of Dext for financial management.
✔ Experience handling multi-currency online banking .
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
✔ Ability to work independently and manage financial operations effectively.
