Introduction
We are a leading distributor and manufacturer of security solutions based in Cape Town, seeking a dynamic and motivated external sales representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to promote our cutting-edge security, monitoring, and tracking products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer relationship management, with an emphasis on regular follow-ups and maintaining long-term connections. A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential qualities we are looking for.
Previous experience in the security and wireless communications industry would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities within the target market through calls, cold calls, meetings, and emails.
Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Maintain and grow the client database.
Understand and assess customer needs and requirements.
Present and demonstrate our range of security products and services.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless customer satisfaction.
Assist customers with quotations, sales orders, invoices, and inquiries.
Pick and deliver stock to clients as required.
Requirements:
All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) qualification
Valid driver’s license
Own Car
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office
A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
Sales experience with strong administrative skills (advantageous)
Proven experience in inside sales or as a technician in a similar environment (advantageous)
