Our client, a well-established and progressive machinery and equipment design and fabrication company, specifically focused on the FMCG/Packaging sector, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced BSc or BEng Design Engineer to join their R&D design team in Cape Town.
Please note this role is suited to a candidate, who has either a BSc or BEng Mechanical Engineering qualification, and a creative background in machine design and problem solving
KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
You will have completed a BEng and BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 2-5 years experience in machine design experience working on CREO. A background in research and development and PLC programming will be highly advantageous You will have proven experience in producing drawings, bill of materials, conceptual designs and assisting with schematic drawings of control systems. You must be able to supervise installations on site, problem solve effectively and have excellent communication skills The ability to travel locally and internationally is essential for installation and commissioning purposes. You must have a valid driver's license, a clear credit and criminal record and your own reliable vehicle.
