Our client based in George is currently hiring for a Pack station Manager.
The Pack station Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the packing area within a warehouse or logistics facility. This role ensures the accurate, efficient, and timely packing of goods for dispatch, while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols. The manager will lead a team of packers, coordinate with other departments, and continuously improve packing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of packers and packstation staff. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members. Ensure the team meets productivity targets while maintaining quality standards. Conduct performance reviews and motivate team members to achieve goals.Packing Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the packstation. Ensure all orders are packed accurately, securely, and in compliance with customer specifications. Ensure that packaging materials are used efficiently and in accordance with company standards. Maintain a smooth workflow and minimize delays in the packing process.Quality Control:
Conduct regular checks on packed items to ensure accuracy and quality. Address and resolve any packaging issues or errors in a timely manner. Ensure all products are packed in a manner that prevents damage during transportation.Inventory and Supply Management:
Monitor packaging material inventory levels and request replenishments as necessary. Work closely with the inventory team to ensure that packing materials are stocked and readily available.
