Position overview:

The Project Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring the construction of the project

Qualifications:

· A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering plus a PMP certification

· Shall have relevant accreditation, training and experience to fulfil this role

· Minimum five (5) year’s work experience leading a document control team on large-scale EPC projects.

Skills and Experience:

· Proficient in Project Management Software

· Well versed in MS word and Excel

· Strong project management skills

· Ability to manage multiple task

· Excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

· Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify and mitigate schedule risks

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project schedules Collaborate with project management team to develop detailed project execution plans. Conduct schedule analysis and identify critical path activities. Develop and maintain resource loaded schedules to ensure optimal resource allocation. Review and analyse project progress and provide regular reports to project stakeholders. Collaborate with site construction team to identify and mitigate schedule risks. Assist project management team in developing recovery plans for schedule delays. Provide technical support to project management team on all planning-related matters. Plan sequence of project operations for guidance of construction workers. Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Review progress reports submitted by the Sub-Contractor. Prepare project progress reports for management team, Lenders & other stakeholders, as applicable. Monitor and analyse project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools. Recommend and implement modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones. Oversee schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project results. Identify changes in work scope in the project plan. Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members. Evaluate and analyse with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them. support in select the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities to complete project scope. Sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates.
