Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure a steady supply of raw materials. Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive prices. Oversee production planning to align inventory with manufacturing schedules and customer demand. Manage supplier relationships and assess vendor performance. Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, sales) to optimize resource allocation. Monitor market trends, pricing, and risks to adjust procurement strategies accordingly. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor''''''''''''''''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or production planning, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing sector. 5+ years at management level and supervising at least 5 direct reports Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
